Are these original artefacts or exact historical reproductions? The original artefacts remain historical finds; the pieces offered here are newly made, solid precious-metal exact historical reproductions. Most British Historical Jewellery pieces begin with an original, earth-found British artefact pressed directly into casting sand, capturing its surviving form, wear and surface detail. Where a find requires reconstruction, or is adapted into a different wearable form, we state that clearly on the product page. Preserving the past, forging the future.

Are the metals genuine? Yes. Every piece is cast in solid sterling silver, 9ct or 18ct gold, or platinum, according to the option selected. We do not use cheap plating or hollow mass-production methods. Qualifying pieces are independently tested and hallmarked by the London Assay Office before dispatch.

How long will my order take to arrive? Your piece is individually hand-cast and finished at our workshop inside the Leeds Corn Exchange. Please allow 1 to 3 weeks before dispatch, depending on how busy the workshop is, particularly during seasonal peaks such as Christmas. Courier delivery time is additional. If you need your jewellery for a particular date, please contact us before ordering.

Can I order a custom ring size? Yes. Because every ring is individually hand-cast and finished at the bench, we can accommodate standard UK ring sizes. Select your size on the product page before adding the ring to your basket. For an unusual size, contact the workshop before ordering.

Do you accept returns on custom-cast pieces? Custom-cast or personalised pieces cannot usually be returned simply because you have changed your mind. This does not affect your statutory rights. If a piece is faulty, damaged, or does not match your order, contact us immediately and we will put it right.
