THE CRAFTSMANSHIP BEHIND BRITISH ANCIANT REPLICA JEWELLERY
The History Behind the Brand
My name is Dion Smith, and I am the bench jeweler behind British Historical Jewellery.
I have been in the jewellery trade since 2000. I did not start in a showroom; I started in manufacturing, learning exactly how fine jewellery is designed, forged, and finished from the ground up.
By 2006, I was an independent trade craftsman. When High Street jewellers had complex alterations, antique restorations, or heavy repairs they could not handle in-house, they sent them to my workshop unit.
In 2010, I opened my own shop inside the historic Victorian-era Leeds Corn Exchange. For over a decade, we have executed bespoke commissions, resurrected antique jewellery, and performed precision stone replacements for private clients.
Real People, Genuine Craft
To bring this project to life, I have built a dedicated team of genuine tradespeople. We are not a faceless corporate giant. We do not use offshore call centers or automated chat bots. When you contact us, you are dealing directly with real people—starting with me.
We do not sell mass-produced, hollow replicas. We cast solid silver, gold, and platinum directly from original British excavations. Every piece is built with the exact same uncompromising standards I have used for the last two decades—independently hallmarked by the London Assay Office.
