HOW WE CRAFT BRITISH HISTORICAL REPRODUCTION JEWELLERY

There is a massive difference between mass-produced, 3D-printed jewelry and a genuine historical casting. We do not invent history on a computer screen. We pull it directly from the British dirt.

Here is exactly how our pieces go from buried relics to solid, hallmarked reproduction jewelry on your hand.

Unearthing Ancient British Artifacts

It starts in the fields. Real artifacts spanning the Stone Age, Celtic, Roman, Anglo-Saxon, Viking, Medieval, and Tudor eras are unearthed by metal detectorists across the UK. These pieces have been buried for centuries, carrying the exact wear, battle scars, and physical history of the people who originally wore them.

Casting Authentic Historical Replicas

At our bench, we take the excavated artifact and press it directly into casting sand. This creates a master mold that captures the exact physical details and historical aesthetic of the original piece. When you wear one of our reproduction rings or pendants, you are wearing a 1:1 physical clone of an ancient ancient artifact.

Forging Solid Sterling Silver & Period-Correct Gemstones

Once the mold is set, we melt down solid sterling silver, gold, or platinum and pour it. No hollow mass-production, no cheap plating.

The authenticity extends to the stones. We cut and carve them to match the exact lapidary techniques of the specific era. If a Viking ring originally held a rough-cut cabochon, we cut our stones to match. For Roman pieces, we carve period-accurate intaglios into carnelian and onyx, matching the authentic, historical methods used thousands of years ago to create signet seals. No flawless modern machine cuts—just historically accurate, period-correct gemstones.

From there, the piece is filed, hammered, sized, and polished by hand at our workshop inside the Leeds Corn Exchange.

Finally, it is sent to the London Assay Office to be independently verified and struck with a legal hallmark, proving its purity.

Real history, solid metal, genuine craft.
