The broad, tapering shoulders of this Humberside find lead straight to its square setting. Medieval gemstones were prized for their colour and the virtues people believed they possessed. The surviving shoulder markings give this ring its individual character, while a newly set gemstone makes it a bold personal piece or alternative engagement ring.
