The twisted bars and rounded ends of this North Yorkshire chain give the bracelet its movement and character. Chains also kept medieval seal matrices close at hand: those small stamps left a personal mark in wax on documents and goods. Our bracelet reproduces the surviving links and adds a modern clasp for everyday wear.
