Concentric grooves give this medieval find its striking target-like centre. The circular bezel and sturdy band belong to a world in which rings expressed personal identity and standing. We cast directly from the original, preserving its worn pattern and uneven surface in a new piece of precious-metal jewellery.
Period: 13th–15th Century (Late Medieval)
Find location: Near Penrith, Cumbria
Hand-cast in England: A museum-quality reproduction. Each item is cast individually in our Leeds Corn Exchange workshop and finished by hand. Hallmarked by the London Assay Office in the selected precious metal.
